BW is a business advisory firm with expertise in corporate sustainability, communications, stakeholder engagement, and crisis and issue management.

Christopher Broadbent
Christopher’s expertise lies in developing sustainability strategies for companies, often in challenging sectors or circumstances; engaging and mediating with activist NGOs and other stakeholders, including investors; and providing strategic analysis, communications and crisis management.
He has worked around the world with businesses across emerging technologies, energy, land use and agriculture, forestry, extractives, automotive, infrastructure, aviation and transportation, as well as with large consumer brands.
He also has hands-on experience of conservation in temperate climates, having spent over 30 years converting his small farm into a nature reserve.
Christopher has served as a trustee of Plantlife International and The Pond Conservation Trust (now the Fresh Water Trust), and as a non-executive director of several early-stage renewable energy investment businesses.
He founded and ran one of the UK’s largest independent public relations consultancies, Barclay Stratton, before co-founding sustainability consultancy Robertsbridge Group. The company was sold to Stonehaven Global Holdings in 2021 (now PF Global), where Christopher continued to work as a consultant until late 2026.
Sarah Broadbent
Sarah’s background is in corporate communications, public sector engagement, and destination marketing. She has frequently taken the role of spokesperson on behalf of clients in live media, especially in combative situations, and is a polished presenter.
She has worked in M&A, for large brands, and for destinations, tourist boards, hotels, attractions, and the wider tourism industry worldwide. Latterly she has spent some years representing, lobbying and advocating for her local town's businesses ensuring they have a platform in local, regional and national politics. She is the current Chair of the destination marketing organisation (DMO) for East Sussex - 1066 Country Marketing, for which she is a frequent media spokesperson.
Christopher and Sarah live on their nature reserve farm in East Sussex, UK, where they also run a small glamping based hospitality business.
